In Evernote’s recent upgrade they added natural language search. This is fairly significant. Search can be elusive at best. Remembering just the right word to bring up that note is often challenging. Or you have a combination of words and you don’t know how they go together to make a useful search.
Evernote is attempting to solve this problem with Natural language search. You just enter the search phrase and Evernote will properly parse the phrase. As an example you might write, show me my photos from my Europe trip in 2013. Evernote will parse this phrase so that the search makes sense.
This is a big move towards enhancing productivity by making it easier to find the information that we put there but just can’t remember exactly the right words to find what we’re looking for. Possibly other vendors will move to this method of search.
