On Tuesday March 17, 2013 Mavericks OSX 10.9.1 was released by Apple. This is standard practice for any of Apple’s previous OS’s and is intended to deal with bugs and problems in the current release.
Unlike past OS upgrades where specific applications might be having trouble with the new OS, Mavericks introduced some small impediments to to it’s general operation. In this release, expect improvements to Mail and most specifically Gmail accounts. However, numerous items have been addressed in the release notes. I’m hoping that 10.9.1 will be a little more stable overall and that there will be some small performance/stability improvements.
