Here we TextExpander Touch users sit without functionality we have become used to. When I initially saw that Smile Software was going to use Reminders to store snippets I did not think this was going to fly with Apple at all. They are being very strict about Sandboxing and that’s how TextExpander Touch ended up in this mess during the conversion to IOS.
Is their current plan of working directly with third party software manufacturers feasible. It is but we certainly won’t have a functional product anytime soon. To do this, third party developers have to fit this work into their development schedule. This is no small undertaking. Let’s hope it works as up until now I’d call this quite the mess.
